Introducing: Sophie!

Since I haven't really used my blog in about 1.5 years, I decided to make use of it when I have time. Since I have become a new mother, my life revolves a lot around my little girl, so I'm assuming this blog will as well! Just warning you: there will be a lot about her! :) Let's start off by introducing her, even though I'm sure you already know her. Sophie Rae was born on December 14 at 12:37 am. She was 8 pounds, 1 ounce and 21 1/4 inches long. She decided to make her showing 11 days late, though with a lot of help.

It's hard to believe that she'll be a month old this Friday! In this first month, it has been quite the blur. I have learned a lot and am still learning everyday. I have begun a lot of things that are not common in my family, mostly using cloth diapers and nursing her. My main goal when dealing with her is to raise her up for the Lord. God for whatever reason entrusted this tiny person to me and Brandon, so we're going to do everything we can do to raise her for Him and not for the world. With help from friends and the Lord, hopefully we'll do alright!

Anyway, I just wanted to give a quick starting post. I don't know how often I'll post or what they'll be about. I can tell you that it will be pretty random, I'm sure. :) Thanks for reading!
