Head's Up!

Living with a 1 month old already allows me to get excited at the smallest things she learns to do.  For a while now, she's been working on lifting her head on her own.  She can lift her head up quite easily, but doesn't have good control and cannot move side to side very well.  She's gotten to be difficult to burp because she tries to put her head back.  I have to practically lay down with her on my shoulder because she's so strong at it!  

I got this great short video yesterday of her lifting her head and thought I'd share.  She's getting so big!  I love that I got her smiling in it as well.  Please excuse her hair, though.  :)

We're still working on our next task: rolling over.  She can roll onto her side from her tummy, but I think that's more because of the weight of her head pulling her over.  We'll get it down soon enough!  I'm definitely not rushing her growing up!  I'm enjoying these steps and get excited at each one!
