There hasn't been much going on for us, so there's not much to entertain you here! We do just about the same thing every day, but that's fine for me. Keeping Sophie in a routine is working out quite well. Here's the routine she's beginning to get into:
Wake up around 10:30-11:00 to eat
Play and hangout until around 2, then eat again
Take a nap until about 5 or 6, then eat again (seeing a pattern here??)
Stay awake until about 9-9:30, then eat and get ready for bed
She's always been pretty good at night, but night time the past few nights has been wonderful! She's been going to bed around 10, wake up around 2 or 3, eat then go back to sleep (sometimes even before burping because she's so sleepy!), wake up around 6:30 or 7 am, eat, back to sleep until around 10:30 or 11. I've been getting enough sleep for the first time in a month! This is one happy momma!
The evenings when she's awake is usually daddy's time with her. He helps with her while I make dinner and then gives me some time to relax by playing with her afterward, if she's in the mood. Here's a picture of her playing with Brandon last night. Hopefully you can see the joy in her face.
We also entertain ourselves a little with her. We do our best to keep her awake until her last evening feeding around 9 so that she'll sleep better at night. Last night, we realized that when she's going to sleep, by Brandon saying her name loud and deep it startles her and wakes her up. So we did this several times, laughing pretty hard each time because she makes such a pouty face. She makes the face, acts like she's going to cry, then just starts to doze back off without making a noise. I put a video on Facebook of it so I won't do it here, but here's a picture of her pouty face. Enjoy!
