I found an easy activity for learning colors on Pinterest and had to try it out as we were in between C and D letter lessons. (
HERE is the original link I had run across.) I just took 5 empty toilet paper rolls, cut out some construction paper from 5 different colors, then taped them to the toilet paper rolls. I have a package of colored popsicle sticks so I made sure the colors of the paper matched colors I had in the sticks. That was it! I pulled out a few sticks of each color, then we worked on matching the stick to the right color.

| Some colors are right, but some are not. Oh well! |

| A closer look at the rolls. Nothing fancy but they work great! |
Sophie seemed like she was really going to be into it for the first 2 minutes, then seemed to quickly lose interest in matching the colors and just wanted to play with putting the sticks into the rolls, no matter what color it was. That's ok. It was something she was enjoying doing so as I usually try to do, I just went with it! :) I have them still and we can visit this activity at a later time.
