Easter for our family is definitely a time to be focused on Christ. It is Resurrection Sunday - the day we set aside to remember and honor our Lord Jesus Christ for not only going to the cross to die but for being a Risen Savior!
Unfortunately, today Brandon had to work (as usual these days), but Sophie and I tried to make the most of the day. My parents came in for the weekend, so we spent the morning while we were getting ready with them.

During church, Sophie sang/signed Jesus Loves Me with a couple of older boys. They began before I could get my camera going, but I got part of the song. (Unfortunately, my blog will not allow the video to upload so I'm going to try it on Facebook. It keeps saying there is an error loading my video before it even gets a chance to try to load it. Been trying to get it to upload for 3 days now with no luck, so I'm sorry those who cannot view it on Facebook! She did a really good job, though!)
After morning service, there was a treasure hunt (as called at our church) for the kids. Sophie had a blast picking up the candy, even though she can't eat any of it (some because of gluten, others because of dairy or corn). Brandon and I will surely enjoy eating it! There were some bubbles instead of candy so Sophie did get one thing she could call hers and enjoy.
